What is Normatec compression?
Normatec uses soft air-filled sleeves around your legs, hips or arms. They fill and release in waves from your feet up, helping move blood and lymph fluid back toward your heart while you sit back and relax, fully clothed.
The science
Your veins and lymph vessels rely on moving muscles to carry blood and fluid back toward your heart. Normatec's air chambers squeeze in waves from your feet up, doing that work for you while you rest.
This kind of compression (intermittent pneumatic compression) has been used in clinics for decades to boost blood flow in the legs and to help move lymph fluid. For athletes, reviews of studies find modest benefits, mostly in how sore and fresh their legs feel afterward.
What does it feel like?
A firm, rhythmic squeeze that moves up your legs and then lets go. It feels like a deep leg massage, and you choose the pressure.

Questions about compression therapy
How much is Normatec compression in Woodland Hills?
At Biohack Cryo + Wellness, 30 minutes is $30 and 45 minutes is $40.
Do I need to change?
No. The sleeves go over your normal clothes.
Is it only for legs?
No. Normatec can be used on your legs, hips or arms.
Does compression help with blood flow and lymphatic drainage?
That's how it works: the sleeves squeeze in waves from your feet up, the same direction your veins and lymph vessels carry fluid back toward your heart. Similar compression has been used in clinics for decades to boost circulation and move lymph fluid, and most people say their legs feel lighter afterward. It's a wellness session, not a medical treatment, so if you have a condition such as lymphedema, check with your doctor first.
Who uses compression therapy?
Runners, lifters, people who stand all day, and anyone whose legs feel heavy or tired.
Can I combine it with other services?
Yes. Add other services to the same booking and we'll plan the order for you.
