Booking and changes
How do I book?
Book online in about a minute, or call us at (818) 307-0932. You can book one service or several in a row, and we put them in the right order for you.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes, for contrast therapy, the infrared sauna and the cold plunge. Choose "Bring a guest" when you book; the added price shows before you confirm.
How do I cancel or rebook?
Open your confirmation email and tap Manage booking (or log in on our site and open My visits). Then tap Cancel, or Pick another time. You can do this any time before your visit starts.
What is your cancellation policy?
Late cancel (2 to 10 hours before your visit): a fee of 25% of what you booked, up to $15. Last-minute cancel or no-show (less than 2 hours before, or not coming): a fee of 50% of what you booked, up to $30. Using a package or membership? The session is used instead. For a last-minute cancel, the late-cancel fee is added too. Example: a $30 Cold Plunge is $8 late, $15 last-minute. The fee for every service is on our Cancellation policy page. Fees are due at your next appointment and are due at that visit.
What if I'm running late?
Sessions end on time. If you're more than 5 minutes late, we may not be able to start your session, and it counts as a no-show under our cancellation policy. Call us if you're on your way.
Your first visit
What should I know before my first visit?
Arrive 10 minutes early so we can show you around. Booking Myofascial Release or Radial Shockwave? Check your email for a short intake form before you come.
Do I need to fill out a form?
Only for Myofascial Release and Radial Shockwave: after you book, we email you a short intake form so your practitioner can tailor the session to you. For every service you sign our liability waiver when you book, once a year.
Can someone under 18 book?
Yes, with a parent's consent form. Tick "This visit is for someone under 18" when you book and we'll send the form.
In what order should I do my services?
You don't need to work it out: we plan the order so each service flows into the next. Many guests like to finish in the Ammortal Chamber and leave fully relaxed.
About the services
What's the difference between cryotherapy and a cold plunge?
Cryotherapy is dry, very cold air (−166°F to −220°F) for up to 3 minutes. A cold plunge is water at about 45°F in your own private room for 15 minutes, with 3 to 6 minutes in the water for most people.
What is contrast therapy?
Your own private room with an infrared sauna and a cold plunge. You go back and forth between heat and cold at your own pace, for 45 or 60 minutes.
What is the Ammortal Chamber?
One reclined session that layers red and near-infrared light, gentle magnetic pulses, sound you feel as vibration and guided breathing. Biohack has the only one in the San Fernando Valley.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes. For the cold plunge and contrast therapy, bring a swimsuit.
